Not a Real Catastrophe (Like Katrina) is my contribution to pianist Nicholas Phillips’ #45 Miniatures Project. These were a series of aphoristic pieces inspired, mocking, and otherwise addressing the increasingly terrifying and incompetent utterances on Twitter of one Donald J. Trump, president of the United States. My contribution is a reaction to a criminally incompetent response to the gigantic disaster that Hurricane Maria proved to be for my native Puerto Rico in September, 2019. 

May the breath of a vengeful god bring justice to the people of Puerto Rico.
